Environmental Justice (EJ)

Environmental justice: Everyone has the right to a safe, healthy, clean environment in which to live, work, and play; however, people of color currently have less access to environmental goods and are more likely to be exposed to environmental bads. Therefore, environmental justice means working towards a better environment for everyone, but focusing efforts on empowering the most affected communities to make positive changes in their environment. What's the environment? Generally, it's defined as "where we live, work, and play (etc)."
